Trampoline Dodgeball is here to stay!

What began as a goodwill trip to China for the Georgetown men’s basketball team turned violent Thursday night, when its exhibition game against the Bayi Rockets deteriorated into a melee during which players exchanged blows, chairs were thrown and spectators tossed full water bottles as Hoyas players and coaches headed to the locker room at Olympic Sports Center Stadium.

Georgetown Coach John Thompson III pulled his players off the court with 9 minutes 32 seconds left in the game and the scored tied at 64 after a chaotic scene in which members of both teams began throwing punches and tackling one another.

I have always thought that running on a track was boring, and this is probably the first twist on a running track I have ever seen. Introducing the 3D Athletics Track. It is an alternative track for a conventional one, and it features a raised and three-dimensional shape. Basically, it has a hill!

Get me out of here! Very interesting position to be in during your first ever jet boat race. Im really hoping there aren’t any sharks in the water.

Panama defender Luis Moreno is facing sanctions after he kicked an injured owl that had landed on the field during a match for his Colombian club Deportivo Pereira against Atletico Junior.

The owl, which serves as a mascot for the Atletico Junior team and lives in the stadium, was being treated Monday at a local veterinary clinic in Barranquilla.

The bird had been expected to recover from a minor fracture to its right leg, but Radio Santa Fe reports that the owl has now died.

Pereira club president Francisco Javier Lopez said the player would be punished and he could also face sanctions from Colombian football’s governing body. Not too mention the RSPCA, and PETA no doubt, who actually have something genuine to whine about now.

What do skiers do when they are inbetween seasons? Well they go Cliff Trampolining of course. This video, shot by Dan Karr, shows what they do instead.

Broken Head is the right hand point break at the southern end of Tallow Beach. It is a world class, sand bottom, long right hand wave. The swell was up, but the rides were not particularly long.
