Most people (that Like Justin Bieber at all) are fans of the new haircut. Since the Canadian pop wiggler chopped of his almost famous moppy swoop though, the Biebs Bnoce has made sure he lost the support of one group of fans. Gay women.
Founder of LWLLJB (lesbian who look like Justin Bieber) Dannielle Owens-Reid had made this opinion public: “I get submissions every single day. Since he cut his hair, that hasn’t changed. But I’m still getting the same amount of pictures of girls with the swoopy Justin Bieber hair, not the new style. It’s like everyone wants to ignore the new cut, just like everyone wants to ignore the fact that he’s dating Selena Gomez. It’s one of those ‘say it ain’t so’ moments.” Gosh. The stress of running a website eh.
Dragon Age 2 only came out yesterday, but some crafty people have already discovered an easy to perform glitch that gives the player an infinite amount of experience points and gold. Hmmm, those are surely some of the basic fundamentals of the game, no?
The glitch, or “cheat” if you’re the judgemental type, involves some quick button presses while turning in quest items from delivery missions. Check out GameFront’s video for the details:
This year, Blizzard Entertainment – the developers behind series like Warcraft, StarCraft and Diablo – turns 20. To celebrate, they’ve released this fascinating video retrospective.
Blizzard have started to slowly poke out clues into what we can expect from Heart of the Swarm – the first expansion to Blizzard’s Starcraft II. The expansion will have as much of an e-sport focus as Wings of Liberty, and they’ve made a plea for gamers to embrace the new breed as a spectator sport.
During a talk entitled The Game Design of Starcraft II: Designing an E-Sport at GDC, Justin Browder one of the designers on the project admitted that the team did encounter some surprises when the game was finally released: “We’re going to maintain the e-sport values. We’re still working on it. These values are real. We’re not going to chicken out on e-sports in Heart of the Swarm.”
According to Browder, every aspect of Starcraft II’s development centred around the idea of making the game balanced and enjoyable to spectate: “Multiplayer was hugely impacted by e-sports. We took a ton of damage in trying to make this game’s multiplayer. A huge amount of effort. We were completely screwed around for five or six years. The art team got hit hard by the decision to make this an e-sport. Even the vision and the story were affected by the fact that this was going to be an e-sport. We did anything we could to make this a more watchable viewing experience.
Tonnes of gamers are staying in touch with the spectator aspect that the game is responsable for, PC Gamer proudly admit to it, and so does Inappropriatebunny.com, but what about you guys? Nine Inch Nails mastermind Trent Reznor has won his first Academy Award. Reznor and his frequent collaborator Atticus Ross won the Oscar for Best Original Score forThe Social Network, a superb achievement considering the duo’s inaugural project as composers for film.
This is not the first major award Reznor and Ross have won for their work on The Social Network. They previously took home awards for Best Score from the Golden Globes, the Los Angeles Film Critics Society, Broadcast Film Critics Association and the Boston Society of Film Critics to name a few.
Charlie Brookers nice eccentric ragging on Colonel Gaddafi. Im just pleased for him and the fact that he managed to get Tony Blair, Jedi’s and Ice-Cream into the same sentance. I’m not sure how much we trust Gaddafi’s interpreter however, but it is was in fact raining.
From last week’s Ten O’Clock Live, this is some of the most nose-milk-spurting material ever aired. Ten o’clock live’s clips should all be on YouTube.
A few days ago, I stuck out a blog on Natalie Portman and her crying so much. A tongue in check jaunt at her tearful screen roles, for which she earnt an Oscar and quick rightly so. But that just the point, she earnt an Oscar and cried about that too.
